Finally, Farrah Fawcett has surrender from her battle to cancer today after two year struggling. The Charlie’s Angel star has died in age 62, has become an icon of pop star during 1970s.

She died in a hospital in Los Angeles surrounded by her family and friends. Ryan O’Neal her long companion, who had proposed her, says,

“She’s gone. She now belongs to the ages. She’s now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She’s in a better place now. She was with her team when she passed… Her eyes were open, but she didn’t say anything. But you could see in her eyes that she recognised us.”

It had been her last wish to marry actor Ryan O’Neal, who she had a son with during a stormy relationship that lasted for 27 years. But the wedding was unable to take place due to the amount of medical care she needed. The couple had been waiting months for her condition to improve in hospital to go through with the bedside ceremony.

Fawcett and O’Neal first began dating in 1982, after her marriage to fellow actor Lee Majors crumbled. They had a son together, Redmond, before splitting in 1997. But they rekindled their relationship after four years, when O’Neal was diagnosed with leukaemia. Throughout Ms Fawcett’s cancer battle, which was chronicled in the recent documentary Farrah’s Story, they have been inseparable.

“Farrah had courage, she had strength, and she had faith. And now she has peace as she rests with the real angels”, said Jaclyn Smith, the actress’ Charlie’s Angel co star.

Good bye Farrah Fawcett, you are still live in our memories.
