I love seeing her in American Pie plays as Michelle Flaherty, but seeing her today with her six months baby girl, Satyana Denisof, make me realized that she is a mother now, not a naive girl like on the movie.

Alyson Hannigan was on David Letterman show last week and revealed about the cross-country flight to New York and very nervous to brought her daughter along on her first ever flight.

“I was really nervous,” the 35 years old actress admitted during a recent visit to The Late Show with David Letterman. “I went on my Twitter and asked for advice.” What she received in response ranged from bad — “some people said ‘Leave her at home’ or ‘Put her in the overhead compartment,’” Alyson revealed — to good.

“Someone [recommended], and I actually did follow it, ‘Hand out earplugs to all the people around you and say, ‘I hope you don’t need these, but just in case, here you go!””

Everything was so great, Satyana was being “awesome.”

“She’s a good baby. But the earplugs did come in handy because there was a toddler a couple rows back that screamed the whole time.”

And if asking her about her returning to pre-baby form, the star of How I Met Your Mother suggests to breastfeeding.

I know it’s a cliché, but I was eating just ridiculous amounts of food but still losing weight,” she notes. “I think I should just keep breastfeeding until she’s 18.” She adds,

“Is that weird? [If I] just keep pumping? No, I’m not going to do that. That was a joke. Please don’t send letters!”

Since back to work after quite a long time break, she has developed a newfound appreciation for working mothers. “I am a busy mom….it’s amazing how you have to sort of juggle things more than you did before the baby,” she says.

We have a nursery on set. My baby gets to come with me every day, and her daddy is there. I’m really fortunate to be able to bring her to work.”

Some mother is very lucky to have those special treatment for nursery, but for mom who doesn’t, I guess, they can figure those out with their own way for the best. Just keep the spirit for breastfeeding, it’s the moments that mother’s hardly to forget.

Alyson and her husband of nearly six years Alexis Denisof are parents to Satyana, 6 months.
