Diane Keaton frankly about there’s “a huge part that’s missing”, that she doesn’t miss it, a man. Feeling so wonderful about the situation that she calls independence “wonderful.”

“I’m free to do what I want to try to do.  I don’t have to worry that I’m not living up to some responsibility as a partner to somebody else.”

Instead of thinking about something that she’s not miss, she puts the energy to her work, she just finished her new HBO film with Harrison Ford, she writing about herself and memoir about her mother, she says, “My mother had that fantasy of more, a bigger life, expressing herself.”

A mother of two, daughter Dexter, 13, and son Duke, 8, whom she adopted, is pictured for the first time with her on More. Her daugther sees things a bit differently however! “It’s [all about] boys right now,” Diane, 63, shares, asking “Could she be more different from me?”

“She goes to them, talks to them. She makes the dates. It’s refreshing, not waiting for someone to pick you. Which seems to be the story of my life regarding men and being an actress.”

She loves to be at the Plaza Hotel in New York city for interview, “Isn’t it great, that we’re here in this historic place that I love?”, she asks the interviewer. The place is where Diane was first introduced to her son Duke, during the adoption process.

Just like any mom, she can not rest without thinking,
“I don’t really relax much,” Keaton says. “I can’t go and nap, ever. I’m not interested in relaxing until I hit the sack, and then it’s like [crash noise].  I wouldn’t know what to do with a week off. Except for one little area, m-e-n, I’m excited, I’m ready to go, sign me up.”

She’s desperately joking, “I don’t think men even look at me anymore. If anything could work in that area, it would probably be if I paid him. Then I think we could work out an affable relationship.”
