Shane Filan Welcomed Third Baby
Seven months have passed and the baby has born since the happy parents announced the great news about they’re expecting third child on last July, It’s a baby boy for Shane Filan , the leading vocalist of Irish pop band Westlife, and Gillian Walsh.
The baby named Shane Peter Filan, born on 9:30 p.m. on Friday, according to the Irish Independent reports, the baby weighed in at 6 lbs., 9 oz.,
A close family friend explained, “Shane and Gillian are over the moon with their new arrival. They’re thrilled it’s a boy and have decided to call him after his dad, which Shane is chuffed about.
“Both mom and baby are both doing great, although it was a last-minute dash to get to the hospital.
“The labour only took an hour-and-a-half so it was a close call but their doctor, Dr Heather Langan was great. She made sure everything ran smoothly and mom and baby were well looked after.”
Shane Peter is join big sister Nicole Rose, turning 4 next month, and big brother Patrick Michael, 9 ½ months, at home.
