Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart finally got married after dating for eight years and were engaged over Valentine’s weekend in 2009. The couple married in Wednesday in a private ceremony in New Mexico by Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico in his Santa Fe mansion. According to TMZ the newlywed’s marriage license was filed today in Clerk’s Office.
And the best support comes from Harrison Ford’s chef son, Ben Ford who’s so amused and thrilled by the way they did.
“Those crazy kids went off and eloped! I think it is wonderful that they finally made it legit. It is really terrific news.” He added while bake at Ford’s Filling Station the restaurant he runs in Culver City, California, “I’m so happy for them.”
Ben is one of two children from Ford’s first marriage to Mary Marquardt. He also has two grown kids with second wife screenwriter Melissa Mathison.
Ford’s son Liam, 9, with Flockhart attended the ceremony.
Calista and Harrison are in New Mexico, where he is filming the sci-fi action drama Cowboys and Aliens, with Olivia Wilde and Daniel Craig.
