Being a mother is not as easy as on Movie or Drama, it’s take your energy a lot and also gives back in many form to mom. The talented and beautiful mom, Halle Berry reveals her feeling wen she decided to back into her movie career after being full mom to her daughter, Nahla for more than two years.
Berry speaks up at the AFI Fest 2010 A Conversation with Halle Berry, not about her action on her latest movie ‘Frankie & Alice‘ nor her Dark Tide romance with Olivier Martinez, the 44 years old actress shares her guilty feelings to her daughter to work on something she loves to.
“For the first two and a half years I took off and I just wanted to be a mom now that I’m going back to work in a real way, it’s trying to not feel guilty about doing what I love to do and what I have to do, I have to leave her and that’s hard.”
Motherhood has changed so many women and Berry is one of them. Motherhood has keep her grounded and it has changed her life.
“Being a mom does that for me. It sort of puts things into perspective, and it’s about real life, and life is about people, what we give, what we take, what we share.”
Life is all about learning, and motherhood is naturally comes to her.
“I do what I love to do,” she says, “and being a mom has come really naturally. It’s all about finding a way to juggle what I love and what comes naturally to me.”
And about her latest movie and her expectation on that to Oscar, she just hopes people see it.
“I would take an Oscar any time they want to give it to me,” she said. “But I do have one and I feel very accomplished in my industry and that’s something nobody can ever take from me. It’s about doing good work doing things that challenge me putting stories out there that I think are interesting helping women of color keep moving forward those are things that are really important so if people just see this I’ll be really happy.”
