Sputter about his daughters, Bernie Ecclestone, the 81-years-old Formula One owner, has accused his daughters squandering the money.
Mr.Ecclestone who married with Slavica Radic, 54, and divorce three years ago after 24 years of marriage, had put £3billion into a trust fund for his daughter Tamara, 27 and Petra, 22 to invest in property.
Bernie Ecclestone believes his two daughters, Petra and Tamara Ecclestone, have been irresponsibly spending away almost for Petra’s lavish £12 million wedding earlier this year and to renovate Tamara’s new London home, £45 million, and Petra’s Los Angeles mansion £50 million.
He said, “The idea was to buy super-quality property that would be long term, for their children and everything else. It didn’t happen. They haven’t done that. So they’ve had access to money which they’ve spent.”
Ecclestone also warned Tamara for not take a part in her Channel 5 reality show, he expressed his disapproval,
“I watched one of them. I don’t know if it was the first or the second. Not all of it.”
“I told her, ‘if you portray yourself really as you are, it’s wonderful. But they aren’t going to let you. They’re going to wind you up, for sure’.”
There’ll be things you’d rather they didn’t show that they’ll show, and all the things you’d rather they showed, they won’t. Because that’s the sort of show it is.”
“I said, “You don’t need the money. I don’t see a lot of reason for it.”
“But I think that she got talked into it. She believed that the show was going to be about Tamara in normal life.”
But as a loving and doting father, he can understand and declare that his daughter made. Because they are young…
“I suppose it’s because . . . one wonders . . . and this is not in her defense – how many other girls her age would do the same if they could?”
What you’re gonna do if you have £3billion that set for your children from your father? Invest it and wisely spend it, or squander it panicky?
