In love with Tennessee? The Legally Blonde star, Reese witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcome their first child. The actress gave a baby boy, Tennessee James Toth on Thrusday, Sept 27.
Their rep told People, “Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcomed Tennessee James into their family today,” the rep says. “Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled.”
The Academy Award winning actress is married with Toth in March last year in Ojai, California. Some close friend Hollywood stars came to the wedding, such as Renee Zelwegger, Salma Heyek, Scarlett Johansson, Tobey Maguire, Sean Penn and Robert Downey Jr.
And the acress said about her eagerness to have another child according to a source, “Right after the wedding, Reese expressed a desire to have a baby with Jim,” said the source. “Reese has been very open with her kids about her plans to expand the family.”
She is a mom for Ava, 13, and Deacon, 8½, from her last marriage, and adding more member to her family is something she loves to feel the motherhood all over again.
From her quote she says, “I hug all my girlfriends’ babies. They’re all so stinking cute,” she was quoted as saying, and adding, “There’s a little sadness as they’re growing up and walking away from you, but it kind of changes the whole dynamic. We have really funny dinner conversations now, and they know more about certain topics than I ever, ever knew.”
Talking about the name that she picked for her newborn baby, I guess it’s all about her fondness for the state she grew up in.
“It [her California ranch] reminds me of growing up in Tennessee, where we spent all day outside,” she told Elle Décor once, “I wanted my children to have that experience, to get muddy and hang out with the animals. … It’s like having a little bit of Tennessee in California.”
