Suri Cruise celebrates her 7th birthday on April 18. And Mom, Katie Holmes treated the birthday girl’s first grade class at her Manhattan private school to 24 flourless cupcakes from People reports.

And “Everyone loved them” according to one of the source about the surprise pink cup cake for Tom Cruise’s daughter seventh birthday party.

Daddy, Tom Cruise already celebrate his daughter birthday with him. In the interview with Ryan Seacrest, Tom who is promoting his new film Oblivion said that he and Suri already celebrate her seventh birthday.
“I take care of the kids early,” Tom explained, adding that the birthday present shopping was “done already.”

“You’ll know, you gotta plan ahead for these things,” Tom said. “All celebrated and done.”

And with mom, Suri celebrated her birthday by taking a leisurely walk through New York with Grandma Kathleen. The celebration continuous the next day, they pampered themselves at Spa and Nail salon.

Chocolate Flourless Cupcakes

• 20 oz. (3½ cups) semi-sweet chocolate
• 9 oz. (2 sticks and 2 tbsp.) butter, softened
• ½ cup water
• ¾ cup white sugar
• 1 pinch salt
• 2 large eggs
• 3 large egg whites

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Melt chocolate, and put it into a mixing bowl while warm (not hot!) fitted with paddle attachment. Add the softened butter to the melted chocolate on low speed, piece by piece until incorporated. Heat the water, sugar and salt until the sugar and salt are dissolved. Add the warm (not hot!) water mixture to the chocolate mix once the butter is incorporated.

Add eggs and egg whites to the mixture slowly on the first speed. Mix until incorporated, and then scrape down the sides of the bowl. Mix again to make sure batter is combined. Fill the cupcake cups to a ¼ inch from the top. Bake mini cupcakes at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Bake standard cupcakes at 300 degrees for 60 minutes.

Buttercream Frosting
• 9.5 oz. (2 sticks and 3 tbsp.) butter, room temperature
• 9.5 oz. (1 cup and 3 tbsp.) shortening, room temperature
• 7 cups powdered sugar
• 2 large egg whites
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Mix the butter and shortening with paddle in a stand mixer until smooth. Add the sugar gradually, and mix until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Combine the egg whites and vanilla, and add to the bowl on low speed. Mix until combined.
