Celine Dion husband has passed away last Thursday after long and courages battle against with throat cancer. Dion announced the sad news on her twitter,
“René Angélil, 73, passed away this morning at his home in Las Vegas after a long and courageous battle against cancer.”
“The family requests that their privacy be respected at the moment; more details will be provided at a later time,” according a post on Dion’s Website.
René Angélil, became Céline Dion husband since they married in December of 1994, even people was doubtful about the permanence of marriage due their age difference. Then time proved it wrong, Céline and René were passing every year of their togetherness happy.
René as her first and number one fan, as he heard the 12-years-old Dion’s demo that Céline’s brother sent it. When René did not reply, the Dions called him directly to listen. Finally in January 1981, René prompted to audition Dion. René has worked hard and personally put down thousands and thousands of dollars from his own wallet, he mortgaged his house to pay her debut album, La Voix du Bon Dieu.
Her third English album, The Colour of My Love, she dedicated the album to dearest Céline husband as a personal thank-you to the man who stole her heart.
They fell in love, when Dion won the top prize at the Eurovision song contest in 1988 at Dublin, Ireland, and at that time Dion has grown up and became a star. Celine Dion husband told CNN on Larry King Live.
Their love story was undoubtedly going lasting, especially when many celebrity couple that came and went. But their marriage evidently became one of the most romantic and true in all of Hollywood.
When René stepped down for being his wife manager in June 2014 because of his battle with cancer, Dion also put her singing career on hold to be on his side during the battle
And now René passed away from throat cancer, the world was stunned. Céline and the couple’s beautiful children, René Charles, 14-years-old and the twin Nelson and Eddy, 5-years-old are grieving together with René’s children from his previous relationship, Anne Marie, Jean Pierre and Patrick.
Eventually these separation only temporary, at the end the couple will be reunited once again, along with all of the loved ones who have been lost to time. Céline’s heart will go on, and they will meet again, where they will never lose each other ever again.
