George Clooney About His Twins : “ It wasn’t Alexander the Great and Ella Fitzgerald.”

As we knew, George Clooney and his wife, Alma, welcomed their twins Ella and Alexander in June. And the actor still has that new fatherhood feelings about his twins.

In the latest interview during promoting his new movie, Suburbicon, George Clooney admitted that getting married and having children was not always part of the plan. “When Amal and I met and when we got married it became really clear we were lucky… It seemed selfish not to share some of that luck with some other people.”

The 56-years-old actor tells more detail about his twins in detail. At 4-months age, the twins already have a distinct character. The proud dad revealed that Alexander is bigger than Ella.

“He weighs three pounds more than his sister.” He told Renee the babies both have distinct personalities already, “They’re born with a personalities. Ella is very elegant and dainty she has these big beautiful eyes, she looks like Amal… He’s just a thug, he’s a fat little boy, he laughs louder than everyone in the room, it’s the funniest thing.”

And having another child after twins is not in Clooney and wife’s mind. He said, “Done.”

As for the twin’s name, George Clooney explained that he and his attorney wife “just didn’t want to have really dumb names.”

“We figured these kids are going to be looked at a lot and watched and [have their] every move sort of judged, and we wanted them to at least have a break with the names,” he reasoned. “So we looked for some sort of normal names. We didn’t have any great inspiration. It wasn’t Alexander the Great – Alexander Hamilton – and Ella Fitzgerald.”

Clooney had been preparing for fatherhood after found out Amal, his wife, pregnant, but practicing is kind of different and shocking for the first time being daddy and continue.

“I suppose [the realest moment is] just the minute they came out,” he said of fatherhood. “None of it is real until all of a sudden they’re standing there covered in slime and crying. You’re like, wait a minute, what is that? We were just two and now we’re four.”

“Everything changes pretty quickly,” he added.

George Clooney also commentating about the Weinstein scandal, he called for fundamental changes and even his wife has seen the harassment in the course of her career. “My wife is a very smart, very together, very accomplished human rights lawyer and she said there have been times in my life, in the law community I had to tell someone to knock it off, so it happens everywhere.”

“This wasn’t just guys hitting on girls, this is assault… If we don’t address this and really go after Harvey, it will come back.”
