Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon : “Try to Laugh”

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, a Haitian American actress must be so familiar with parenting since she is the youngest of seven siblings. She can looks her own late mom as she needs a parenting advice for her children, twin boys, Jax Joseph and Jaid Thomas, 1 ½ years old.
“She [knew] a thing or two,” said the 42 years old actress.

She has advice for new moms, Garcelle says, “Try to laugh.” She knew sometimes hard to laugh in the chaos, but with laughing it will make you relax and can see everything clearly.

“You get tested so many times, especially with two … One wants to come up. One wants to go outside. One’s on the top of the stairs. One’s on the bottom of the stairs. And you’re in between who do you watch out for? And you just gotta go, ‘It’s all good!’ They’re not gonna break. It’s all good.”

Meals a day become so challenging for the former model, because it is very important for growing up children. And the effort make Garcelle like a short order cook for the twins, “I’m always at the stove,” she notes.

Ask her about the biggest baby must have and wife of Mike Nilon answer it with the ‘these blue diaper bags’. “There are these blue diaper bags that when you have a poopy diaper, you put in, they smell like baby powder inside,” she revealed. “We use it at home, we use it on the go…[When] you’re at a friend’s house, you don’t want to spoil her garbage, her kitchen.”

Jax and Jaid have an 18 years old sister from her previous marriage, Oliver.
