To watch your children on their first step feels like hilarious, same with Giada De Laurentiis, during a special screening of Julie & Julia she revealed about her daughter Jade Marie, 16 months first step. She did not take it with cheerful but with tears “Why is it that we all do that?” she asks. “Do we really think that our kids are going to go to college and not be able to walk there?”

Just like another mother, Giada has been worrying about her daughter development, she is expecting about Jade might walking, when it has not her time to walk yet, she burst to worry that there’s something wrong about her.

“I think it’s that stress…I think that since she was about a year old the question is ‘Does she walk?’ And the answer has been no. So I think that fear sort of sets in that there’s something wrong with her.”

Everything starts from the brain, the celebrity chef mom, has prepared meal for the little ones, just right before she left to screening, it was ground beef with onions, a dash of garlic and fresh lemon juice over brown rice for her baby girl.

“She definitely eats like a queen,” Giada concedes. “I don’t know what’s going to happen when she gets older. I’m not sure that I’ll have a daughter that only eats yellow food or something. She has a gourmet sort of palate.”

Surprising is never stop, everyday will be the journey to new mother. “I never realized how much goes on in those little brains and how they really are sponges,” Mrs. Todd Thompson says. “Everything that you say to them comes back to you, even if it doesn’t come back right away.” Watching Jade’s brain work is “unbelievable,” she adds. “It’s like a little steam engine…There’s steam coming out of their ears. It’s really cute.”

It is right, about children always copying what their parents do, so beware mom and dad. Be good example for children. I often forget about it, but after it happened, I explain to my children about the situation in their language though. But I keep get the surprise in the motherhood about my children development everyday.
