Corey Haim may not be able to attend to his niece. Carol “Cari” Haim, Corey Haim’s sister has given birth a healthy baby girl, according to Acceshollywood.

Cari gave a birth via c-section, just one day before her brother’s funeral in Toronto. Corey Haim has died last march 10 and caused by pulmonary congestion and was suffering from an enlarged heart and water in his lungs.

The sudden death of the Lost Boys star  on his 40 was a shock to many his fans, but according to Radar there’s his close friend that was not surprised with the news, since Corey “was begging me to give him pain medication shortly before his death.”

“But although I’ve read stories about a gang giving him prescription drugs he never spoke about that. I know he was taking a lot of Valium, he was very upset about his mom’s cancer as he was really close to her, and I guess it was his way of dealing with the stress,” said the source.

“Corey had recently started working with a new detox guy, and was in a pretty fragile state. Corey would get desperate sometimes though and would just nag his friends for drugs.”

Corey Feldman who was his friend and have been worked together on many movies and reality show, The Two Coreys, will not attend to Corey Haim’s funeral which will be held on Tuesday.

“In the days following my best friend Corey Haim’s death, I have spent much time with his mother Judy, who has always been like a mother to me,” Feldman said in a statement.

“I would love nothing more than to be by her side at Corey’s funeral, however, due to their strong religious beliefs and need for privacy, the family has decided to make Corey’s funeral on Tuesday a small private affair.

“Understanding the recent media attention and to be respectful of the family’s wishes, I have decided not to attend.”

Congratulation for the new born baby girl for Cari and Haim family, I know the baby born always bring the happiness to the family who has lost son, brother and friend.
RIP Carey Haim.
