Have you heard about Hollie Steel? She is again famous in one night because her performance at Britain’s Got Talent Show, which is stunning the audience and the judge mostly with her classic voice.

With confidence she was perfom in Britain’s Got Talent with tutu, unfortunely dislike by the judge, she said ; “I had tears in my eyes but I didn’t want to him to see me cry like the bullies at school so I thought of things that made me happy. I thought of being in the final of Britain’s Got Talent and winning it.”

Very ambitious little girl, I think, and guessing she must have been through rough childhood, and my guess is right.

It is the story from her mommy, Nina, 37 years old, who works as an audiologist testing hearing in the local hospital, Nina and her husband Jason, 38, are NHS audiologists, helping elderly people and children with hearing problems.
“I didn’t have a good childhood and was adopted by my stepfather who hit me and my sister.
“We were eventually raised by my grandma and grandad. My childhood made me determined to give Hollie the very best start in life.”

Nina revealed how her daughter almost died at the age of four after contracting a rare form of pneumonia. The disease led to a build up of fluid on her lungs. The condition was misdiagnosed several times and when the potentially fatal condition was finally recognized doctors discovered the fluid on Hollie’s lung had been there so long it had solidified. They warned they may have had to remove her lung altogether. It would have left Hollie unable to sing or dance.

Luckily she recovered and left hospital three months later.Nina says her daughter still suffers from shortness of breath but, incredibly, her powerful singing voice has never been affected. Over the next few years, inspired by her brother Joshua, now 15, who is also a talented singer, Hollie took to the microphone.
It led to small parts in local productions and last year she won the role of Annie at Burnley Mechanics Theatre where she performed for 500 people a night.

Nina said: “When she first started singing she had this powerful voice on her and I asked a specialist singing
teacher to check her out in case it was dangerous after all that had happened to her. But luckily they said she was fine. I love to listen to them both sing, it makes me so proud.”

Sadly, Hollie’s success has led to her being bullied at Oak Hill College school in Burnley. Hollie says at first she kept quiet about her suffering, but she eventually plucked up the courage to tell mum Nina.

Nina, says the bullying stems from snobbery from rich families who look down on Hollie and her brother Joshua. She said: “We have scrimped and saved every penny to send the kids to private school. But our finances mark Hollie out. The other kids’ parents can pay the fees comfortably but they know we have to go without so she can go to Oakhills and they poke fun at her because of it.

Again Nina said about the bully Hollie’s got ; “She comes home in floods of tears sometimes and I have to tell them they are just jealous. I’ve had to go to the school four times about it now and it’s slowly getting sorted, I hope.

“Hollie would love something to come from this. She goes to drama school for six hours every Saturday and practices singing every day.“This is her dream and she would be devastated if it came to nothing.”

It is an ironic story, a little girl, just 10 years old, in that age she should be enjoying school and friends and others that fun but educate. But, she really determined about the talent contest could bring her out from the world she’s facing now. O…dear, please do not too hard to yourself. Enjoy the contest, win or loose, your family still love you. And being rich does not mean would be happier, happiness is something you should choose.
Hope the best for you, Hollie.
