Liev Schreiber played on X-Men Origins: Wolverine – where he plays Victor Creed, the nemesis to Hugh Jackman‘s , Schreiber says friendship and fun was a big part of the epic five-month shoot in Australia.

Schreiber, 41, had previously worked with Jackman on 2001 romantic comedy Kate and Leopold.

“Hugh is somebody I would follow to the ends of the Earth. He’s an incredibly decent person, and a really talented one as well.”

Liev Schreiber has two sons with Australian actress Naomi Watts.

The more time Liev Schreiber spends in partner Naomi Watts‘ native Australia, the more inclined he is to pack up their family of four and move down under! “I was able to get into a rhythm and I got a feel for the lifestyle and the quality of life there,” the 41-year-old actor tells the Courier Mail. “It’s just unbeatable, plus if you’re raising kids, I can’t imagine a better place.” Of course, the tabloids have every bit the presence in Australia as they do in New York, and Liev admits that nothing tempts his temper like the paparazzi. “I was fine until [21-month-old Alexander] ‘Sasha’  [Pete] came along and then I started to get aggro,” he says with a laugh. “As an actor, I think I’d never kind of reached the heights of fame that Naomi had, and so when she came into my life it was a real test on our relationship.”

“I didn’t like that she was bringing all that attention with her and I think I probably blamed her for it in the beginning. But after a while, I acclimated to it and then, of course, Sasha was born and I had to acclimate to it all over again.”

Noting that “some days are better than others,” Liev seems resigned to the notion of raising his sons in the public eye. “As long as people can make money doing it, they’re going to do it and you have to deal with it,” he adds. The couple will continue to do just that, as they criss-cross the globe with their two boys in tow!

“We’re like circus people, we like to travel. I was really proud of the fact that Sasha had been to 10 countries by the time he was only eight months old.”

He told his experience in making X-Men Origins: Wolverine, that every actor was injured in the making of this movie. “I would go home and Naomi would watch me walking around the house with ice packs taped to every joint on my body. It was a pretty funny looking thing and I think she was laughing.”

And got no sympathy from his wife, Naomi Watts, not because she doen’t care, but there’s a baby, he said; “We had just had a baby, so there’s Naomi with my son Sasha waiting to have dinner and be changed and put to bed. And I’m walking around like the Michelin Man with the ice packs on. But I did my daddy thing.”

And when the night comes, there’s sleep deprivation, since Kai, can not sleep through the night, he keeps wake up caused a bad night.
“Now, we have a new four-and-a-half-month-old, Samuel Kai. Our older son is just learning to sleep through the night, but Kai hasn’t gotten there yet. So on his bad nights, he wakes up his big brother and it gets a little complicated.”

He says about future as an actor ;  “I don’t know an actor alive who doesn’t still entertain the idea that they might have to get a day job. I think that’s part and parcel of the neurosis of the profession. I’ve got kids, and it’s not cheap to raise them. They could sap me dry and I could be delivering pizzas next week. You never know.”

In addition to Sasha, Liev and Naomi are parents to Samuel Kai, 4-months. Liev can next be seen in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, opening May 1st.
