Having kids really take huge effort, not only money, but patient, love, caring and strength plus extra power. If you have seen many celebrity describe having two or more kids, is a chaos, like Liev Schreiber and Jennifer Garner. Kate Gosselin is not different from any other mom, besides she has eight of course. She just feels the blessing from God, through her children, I think that make her could stand till now.
She knows about running a house full of kids. And viewers enjoy watching her and her family on the popular TLC show “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”

Gosselin shares some of the lessons she has learned about parenting and give some insights about mommying multiples from her two books, “Multiple Bles8ings” and “Eight Little Faces“, released this month.
In Multiple Blessings, Kate Gosselin shares the gripping details of her roller coaster ride of emotional highs and lows when she discovered she and her husband, Jon, would be expecting sextuplets while still basking in the light of their twin girls’ toddlerhood.

What’s the most important parenting lesson you’ve learned?

I have learned that nothing in life can be perfect … kids spill, get dirty, days don’t go as planned, etc. … and amidst the imperfection, I can and will survive! I have learned a lot about rolling with the punches!

Do you ever regret allowing television viewers to see your family life unfold?
Personally, no. I am who I am. Period. But sometimes it is hard to maintain our family privacy and going out into public is very difficult at this point!

Is it true that you had to quit your job to raise the kids?
I had worked my infamous “16-hour Saturdays” and didn’t HAVE to quit, but strongly desired to be home with my kids (ages 2 and 5) at that point.

Jon and I both work very, very hard on our show. It is more than a 40-hour workweek for each of us. … not only the filming part, but all the e-mails, scheduling, prep, cleanup, etc.

How are you preparing for your children’s future financially?
I am saving away every bit that I can. In this business, you just can’t ever be sure of what tomorrow holds. … They will have the opp to go to college! Period!

Do you ever worry that in a family of eight children, that someone will not get their emotional needs met?
This is my daily worry. I make every second with my kids count. It is a delicate balance between what needs to get done and giving the kids the love, time and attention they need.

What resource has been the biggest help to you?
I can’t say really, except that the Bible has much parenting advice and I try to parent that way. Additionally, I am constantly gleaning info from friends on what works/doesn’t work. I’m also not too proud to hear friends’ observations. about my kids.
