Have you heard buzzes about how Brad Pitt‘s got miserable with Angelina Jolie and wished to be back with Jennifer Aniston? Seemly it is just a rumor only. The couple looked wonderful together while having a romantic dinner.
According to People, the couple, Brangelina, having dinner together with stars and crew of Inglourious Basterds – including director Quentin Tarantino, Diane Kruger (with boyfriend Joshua Jackson), Emile Hirsch and Daniel Bruhl. The dinner was set after Angelina Jolie arrived from Holland where she had observed a war crimes trial. A member of the restaurant tells, “They all had a wonderful time. Angelina and Brad were lovely, the loveliest people I have ever met!”
In his Today interview, Pitt talked about his Inglourious Basterds movie character (surprisingly heartless), his being named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People for his work building houses in New Orleans (“It’s working down there,” he said), and his life right now (“Still about discovery and finding new interests”).
But he grew visibly skittish when asked about Jolie, though he did credit their children for his life being on track, because being at home with them, he said, is both satisfying and gratifying.
Cohesive couple indeed, Angie took care of the six Jolie-Pitt kids while Brad was filming, but now the roles are reversed: Angelina is filming Salt in New York, while Pitt plays Mr. Mom. And it sounds like Pitt couldn’t be happier about it: Angie’s been working, and I’ve got to be home a lot with the kids. Let me be the cliche — it’s really rewarding.
Pitt, who says “I’m right in the zone” and that “it’s one of the most on track” times of his life, isn’t quite sure where he’s heading.
I really don’t know what’s next… It’s still been about discovery, and finding new things and new things of interest. The kids are certainly responsible for that.
Brad Pitt doesn’t spend time away from Angelina Jolie and their six children for just any project.
“As I get older, it’s about the company you keep because you’re away from your family,” he said at the first press conference for his new film, Inglourious Basterds, in Cannes, France, Wednesday. “Sometimes for months.”
The star currently at the Cannes Film Festival along with Jolie praised director Quentin Tarantino, and he showed off his own French speaking skills saying, “je t’aime,” which means “I love you,” several times, as he opened up about his first meeting with Tarantino.
“We went out together… I got up the next morning and saw, like, five empty bottles on the floor and some sort of smoking device on the floor,” he said, laughing. “Then, somehow, six weeks later I was doing the film.”
He said the movie, which follows Pitt as a lieutenant of a group of Jewish-American soldiers fighting Nazis during World War II, was “something new” for him.
“I wish all films could be made this way,” he said. “It’s definitely outrageous, which I was game for!”
He has a great friends in work and life. The family life seems well also. What a cozy way to live. It’s only the matters of the way you choose your life, and he had chosen the cozy and simple one.
