Michelle Williams‘ adorable daughter Matilda Ledger enjoyed a whirlwind playdate on a sunny Friday afternoon in New York City [May 22], with her mom and some pals.
Matilda got a shoulder-ride from a male friend of Williams, while the actress sipped tea and chatted with girlfriends.
While three-year-old Matilda could later be seen skipping home with her grandmother in tow, Michelle spoke with one of our photographers saying she was elated that Matilda never saw him take any photos as he maintained a far distance while snapping.
The actress revealed that earlier in the week two photographers at a nearby park gave both her and Matilda a scare when they got a little too close for comfort.
Michelle added that she did not want to move out of her NYC neighbourhood and that they should pass a law about photographers who harass celebrities
Matilda’s late father Heath Ledger has received some early positive reviews for his last performance, in Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.
The actor’s final turn, which was left incomplete and had to be rounded by Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell, is characterized in one review was “charismatic and adventurous.”
