Melissa Joan Hart after through the rough week for her life ever, because her mother, Paula Hart, underwent an eight hour surgery on a brain tumor, the actress reveals on her MySpace page.
“All of my 6 siblings and I gathered at my house and the hospital for the entire week to be strong for each other,” Hart, 33, writes. “She is out of the woods and on her way to recovery, luckily she is a good healer and has 7 children to lend a hand in times like these.”
The former of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, has found her path to God, and keep the faith burned.
“Prayer is a big part of my life and it was very crucial last week for my mommy,” Hart blogs. “I ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she fights her way to a full and wonderful recovery. I love you Mommy!!!”
Paula Hart, 53, was the executive producer on Sabrina and other TV productions that have involved her children. Her latest production was My Fake Fiancé, which stars Melissa and which premiered April 19 on ABC Family.
