R&B singer, Usher, 30, recently surprisingly filed for divorce to his wife Tameka Raymond, 38. The couple have been separated since July 2008. Usher, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, filed for divorce June 12, claiming there is “no reasonable hope of reconciliation” and the marriage is “irretrievably broken.” He is seeking joint custody of the couple’s two sons, 1½ year old Usher Raymond V and 6 months old Naviyd Ely Raymond.
Strangely on the court document, the wife of R&B singer, Tameka, claims that they had intimate a week before he move to divorce.
She said in court documents filed Monday in Fulton County Superior Court that she “had every reason to believe her marriage was intact” and that two were “intimately together as husband and wife as recently as June 6.”
Tameka said she has been a faithful wife and a loving mother during the marriage. A mother of three children from her previous marriage asked the judge to ensure Usher continues to support his family while the divorce works its way through the courts, including paying her legal fees.
The Grammy winning artist’s hits include “Confessions,” “Burn,” “You Make Me Wanna” and “Yeah!“, said he has balance and relaxation between kids and working out from his last interview with Laura Lane.
“I could be doing many things, I could be running, doing cardiovascular, all that type of stuff. I really find the balance in what I need to do or what I’m thinking about or what I need to think about in that moment when I’m on the treadmill running. The other place is within the noise of my children. When I hear them my mind is not focused on all of the things that are holding me down. When I’m with my boys its all about them and I just put it all together somehow. They bring me my balance.”
The latest Body by Milk star also share his healthy tips in his life. “This is just one of the many things I do to keep my body healthy, is drink low-fat milk. I work out, I try to get as much rest as I can and just be healthy.”
Usher, what’s got into you? Above all, Usher is a daddy role model and proud daddy. Hopefully everything turns just fine especially for the boys.
