Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are planning to wed on Christmas night? Wow, this is new and good news, since on the last interview Richie said, “Right now, we’re really, really focused on our family, we’re focused on our foundation, and as far as feeling that need of commitment, we both really have that in each other.”
Anyway, she must be very happy that finally the drem she has is come true, and they pick the special number only for themselves.
“Joel and Nicole want to make Christmas their special family holiday,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “Nicole and Joel are determined to keep things quiet and low-key. And Nicole’s taken the reins — planning everything, right down to helping design her bridal gown. She is also thrilled about the date they chose, because she’ll have time to lose the baby weight.”
The couple who are expecting their second child together late this summer, have made their made their plans to set the wed on December 24 [just like my daughter’s birthday] and will apparently hold their low-key nuptials at the Bel-Air mansion of Nicole’s dad Lionel Richie.
“For Joel, Christmas has always been about family and faith, marrying Nicole at that time of year makes the event so much more spiritual and special to him, added the source.
Paris and Nicky Hilton, Rashida Jones and Masha Gordon will reportedly be Richie’s bridesmaids.
Joel has asked his twin brother Benji to be best man. The couple’s daughter, 19 months old Harlow, will serve as flower girl, along with Nicole’s half sister Sofie.
“Nicole has been dreaming of this day for years, and she’s taking care of every little detail,” added the insider.
