Claire Danes and British actor, Hugh Dancy, got married in a quiet ceremony in France, few weeks ago, according to Life & Style.
Claire Danes, 30, and Hugh Dancy, 34, first met while they’re filming Evening in Newport R.I and announced their engagement in February.
Claire told to BlackBook magazine for its September issue,
“He’s such a cutie patootie, while relationships are work, this just didn’t feel like it. It’s the kind of work that feels energizing rather than enervating. I find it very freeing to know that, okay, it takes constant nurturing and attention, but I can also stop looking for the one.”
Marnie Gummer, friend’s of Danes comment about how calm Claire was as a bride to be. She also told that the couple’s courtship was equally low-key, and that they bonded over games of Boggle and Scrabble on the movie set.
“I was there when it was happening and it’s something that I will never forget,” Gummer said at the Chanel and Tribeca Film Festival Artists’ Dinner in New York at the time. “I’m incredibly happy for them. They are perfect for each other.”
