Reading the news about Gisele Bündchen is never boring for me. Beside her beauty there’s something about her bravery, motherly and passion of life inside her that make me curious and want to get to know her closer.
And her latest news that she gave a birth her son and did not feel the pain. The 29 years old supermodel telling through the Brazilian TV show, Fantastico, that it “wasn’t painful, not even a little bit.”
“The whole time, my head was so focused – every contraction, the baby is closer, the baby is closer. So, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh, what pain.’ It was, ‘With every contraction, he is getting closer to me.’ ”
Had a water birth while delivered her first son Benjamin with Tom Brady, 32, the quarter back had no serious pain medication, she wanted to be “conscious and present,” she says, “I didn’t want to be anesthetized. I wanted to feel.”
And had a quick recovery after gave a birth, she able to do walking, dishes and making pancakes on the second day.
The only hard and difficult for her and husband was to finding name for their baby, it took a week, they tried to pick something well in English, Portuguese.
“I adore David [pronounced Davi], but he didn’t like David,” Bündchen says. “I liked Joaquim, but he thought it wouldn’t be good … We called him Benjamin. For me, there is no name. He is my benzinho [translation: my beloved].”
She’s planning to raise her son in bilingual language, and won’t forget the root of his mother, Brazilian. She mentions, “Certainly he won’t stop being Brazilian, he’s also Bündchen, he’s not just Brady.”
