Married in Vatican in a private church, exchanged the vows and witnessed by closest friends and family only. The wedding sounds so sacral and simple.
It’s the wedding of actress Mena Suvari and music producer Simone Sestito. They have been engaged since 2008 and planned a private reception following their ceremony outside the city.
A guest comments to People, “The ceremony was truly unique and Mena looked breathtaking. They are very much in love.”
Suvari, 31 and Sestito, 35, met at Toronto Film Festival in 2007. The American Beauty star, 31, accepted Sestito’s proposal during a Jamaican vacation in 2008 after a year of dating.
It is Suvari’s second marriage – she was previously wed to German-born cinematographer Robert Brinkmann. They split in 2005 after five years of marriage.
Sestito told People in 2008, that “We just understood each other. She’s very caring and understanding. There was a connection.”
