Who is the happiest baby on Thanksgiving? Jewel shares the prize of motherhood on Thanksgiving day.
Through her WhoSay, the singer shares her cute laughing son, Kase Townes, who is 4-months-old, with caption : “Thought I’d share a pic of the baby taken on Thanksgiving – he is the happiest baby!”
Jewel gushes recently on Scholastic Parent & Child’s October issue, “I love life as a new mom. I’ve got something new to learn every day. It’s funny, even though you carry your baby all these months, you’re still strangers when he arrives.”
The 37-years-old singer admits about the pleasant and lesson since she has Kase, “When I was pregnant I had a talk with myself. I realized I couldn’t control everything.”
“As a new mom, you have to have a sense of humor because you’re tired and know so little; it stirs up your insecurities. You have to throw up your hands and laugh!”
And seeing her husband as daddy and how the feeling and the love grows by itself. Jewel is experiencing a new found love for Ty Murray (her husband) as well.
“Seeing what a great dad your husband is makes you love him more. It’s a whole new romance,” Jewel explains. “We’ve been together for 13 years. In Hollywood, that’s like 100 years!”
