Taking some family time can be so relaxing after the busy hour for working and working. Kate Beckinsale was spotted out in Venice Beach, California yesterday afternoon, September 27.
Together with her husband Len Wiseman, director of Underworld and her daughter, Lily, from her previous marriage with actor Nixon, Michael Sheen. They’re very much enjoy the weather, Kate’s hold Lily, laughing together. Looked great to spend your afternoon family time.
The Van Helsing actress was homesick to her hometown in England, even she can whenever she wants takes trip to England, but still she misses London.
“I’ve just come back from being in London for five months. I was homesick, so my daughter and I went back for five months. My daughter went to school there, for a little bit. I went to see some of my relatives. So, I got it out of my system, for a little while. Five months was a good long time. I haven’t been able to do that.”
“I’ve been working so much, I haven’t really been able to take a minute to do that, since moving to LA six or seven years ago. So, because I was taking a break, it was nice to go home for a bit.”
Kate recently told Mirror about how much her 10 years old daughter love her two dads.
‘It’s just incredibly groovy,’she laughs. ‘I think they’re both great guys. I love Michael. He’s absolutely one of my most favourite people ever. I think we both felt it was really important for Lily also to have everybody in the same place. He loves her, I love her and Len loves her. Everyone is nice. I do feel like that’s been my major achievement in the last decade.’
She is a lucky mom, with two man in her life share the dad role, and be able to be Kate’s best friends too.
‘I was getting ready for a press thing,’ she says. ‘This hairdresser came to my house two days in a row, and she’s a single mother, and the first day Len was making my daughter dinner and you should’ve heard the eulogy he received from this lady. You’re so amazing. He’s making beans on toast. Then the next day, it was in the evening and I was getting ready to go to some awards thing and Lily’s dad Michael was blow-drying her hair. Again, ‘What an amazing father.’ I’m thinking, I’ve blow-dried Lily’s hair and made beans on toast, and I don’t think anyone has ever gone, ‘What a great mother you are’ I’m very aware of that gender bias!’
Thinking how lucky her daughter is for surrounded by so many nice, creative people and be able to experiences like no other children to visit her mom at work. The most major achievement for Kate is to keeping life as normal as possible for Lily.
How about another brother or sister to Lily? Well, again she is too busy working. And perhaps should get Lily’s permission for that..
“Maybe if my daughter wasn’t threatening to leave home if I even thought about it,’ she laughs. ‘It’s working well as it is. It feels like a long age gap. Well just get another cat for now…”
Working is taking the whole energy of Kate Beckinsale, I say working will never stop until the end, unless we say so. But to having a baby, there’s a limit of age there, still the present of the baby have to be wanted first, with that the baby present will be waited and bring happiness.
