Cole Hamels and Heidi Strobel : “They’ll be Like Twins”

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher, Cole Hamels is expecting his first child with wife Heidi Strobel and it happens to be a boy, the due date at the end of the summer.

“We’re excited,” says Cole, 25. “Hopefully we’ll be headed for the World Series when it happens.”

Even knowing that they are expecting their first child, it doesn’t make their wish to adopt Ethiopia child canceled. The lovely couple who married in 2006, say,

“We still plan on adopting,” says the former World Series MVP. “[The pregnancy] is something we were planning on doing anyway. We’re going to adopt a girl, and it will be great for her to grow up with a brother. They’ll be like twins.”

The couple’s original plans were to travel to Ethiopia in December to adopt a little girl, but the pregnancy has delayed that for approximately six to nine months.

Cole and Heidi have since turned their search to Ethiopia. “We’re working through a stack of paperwork this thick,” Cole explains, displaying a width of several inches. The couple is determined to make their dream of adoption a reality, however. “This is something we’ve always wanted to do, to help someone less fortunate,” he adds.

What a noble want, it really need a big heart to have a sincere love to adoption child. Congratulation for the couple.
