Fruits never fall far from its tree. We know about Princess Diana that had so many interest in charity, humanity and social works. Just like her mom, Prince William, 27 years old, said hew was desperate to make difference and improve on his parents’ charitable work.

At a meeting of the Princes’ Charities Forum at St James’s Palace, the Prince said about his will to do charity more than as a royal ornament and has his own style.

His way to be more than ornament that he felt is by becoming involved with charities not just attending the opening of ceremonies.

“There’s a time and place for being an ornament, or shaking hands and being at an engagement. But I think there’s an awful lot more from actually doing stuff. I get an awful lot out of it when it works. Obviously sometimes you take a little bit of a gamble that it’s not going to have the big effect you want but, even if
it changes one person’s view for the positive, then as far as I’m concerned it’s a success.”

Will who is training to be an RAF rescue pilot, added about what he means on doing things in his own style,

“I wouldn’t say it’s a third way. I think it’s just trying to find your own way. You could just turn up and open things – and, don’t get me wrong, there’s always a good reason to do that – but it’s about bringing some other things into it.”

He told BBC that he and his brother, Harry, have been inspired by their parents and the Queen to be involved with various charities.

“I’ve been trying to take the best bits of both of their charitable lives and amalgamate them.”

Prince William and Prince Harry were setting up their own charitable foundation which will hand out grants to organisations they support.

Julia Samuel, a founder patron of the Child Bereavement Charity and also a friend to their mom, the late Princess Diana, said that their mom would be so proud of her sons.

“She had that extraordinary ability to communicate just with the way she looked at someone, but also with the way that she listened, and she listened with all her being. I think they have that gift too. She’d be really proud, I think.”

I can see the resemble in them.
