Adele Pays Tribute to Brussels Victims on Her London Concert

Brussels attacked by terror last Tuesday. Adele during her six-show in London offered a moving tribute to the victims.
The pop singer asked the audience to turn on their phones to light up the entire arena, The O2 Arena. Also back screen stage to show the audience’s lights.

“This is ‘Make You Feel My Love,’” she said, “and this is for Brussels.”

As we know the attacks happened Tuesday morning at the Brussles Zaventem Airport and the Maelbeek subway station. At least 31 people are known to have been killed, most at the Maelbeek Metro station, and 11 at the Zaventem airport. An estimated 230 were injured at both sites, including foreign nationals as well as Belgians.

Actress Cara Delevingne was in attendance Tuesday night and commended Adele’s performance. “I cried… a lot and laughed even more!” she writes on Instagram. “A truly beautiful and inspiring show thank you @adele for being you!”

The premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in London, canceled red carpet interviews, but otherwise went on as planned.

“Our hearts go out to the victims of recent terrorist attacks, their families and the communities impacted around the world,” Warner Bros. said in a statement. “Rather than yield to terror, we’ve decided to join the film’s fans and move forward with the London premiere of Batman v Superman this evening.”
