Nicole Kidman does not discuss much about her last marriage with the famous actor Tom Cruise. The Australian born star admits for 11-years of marriage to Tom Cruise, did help her to launch her Hollywood career.
The 51-years-old actress shares her reason, and it was love. “I moved here because I fell in love and got married,” the Oscar winner acknowledged. “I always make choices for love, and everything kind of had to fall in place around that.”
Marriage to her love in 1990, while Kidman was just 23. Then they adopt two child, that now has grown up, Isabella 25-years-old and Connor 23-years-old.
Marriage to the famous actor such Tom Cruise was not such a big deal as everyone think it is, especially before the social media.
“If I look back, it actually didn’t seem like a lot of interest,” she said. “We didn’t have social media then. We didn’t have paparazzi like now. You had definite control of it.”
Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise’s marriage might be over long ago, but Kidman definitely learn about his steely determination on doing his own movie stunts.
Her close friend and fellow aussie, Hugh Jackman once revealed about her expertise in skydiver to Variety.
“Did you know she can jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet?” Jackman shared. “I think one day she did it like six times. She and Tom used to do it. She loved it.”
Well, later Kidman clarified, about the terror she has but then the determination wins out. “That’s the crux of my personality,” said Kidman. “Standing there, just going, ‘I want to,’ and then ‘Oh, no, no, no’ and just jumping anyway.”
Now Nicole Kidman happily marriage for the past 12-years to country star Keith Urban and bless with two girls, Sunday 10-years-old and Faith 7-years-old.
